A great way to green your holidays is to wrap presents either in brown paper grocery bags (you can decorate w/ stickers or sparkly pens), OR -- my fave way to wrap presents is in nice dish towels in fun colors that people can re-use in their kitchens. I'm also making treats for my family for the holidays including homemade jam from this summer's harvest, handmade caramels (they're easier than you think!), and homemade dog biscuits.

As far as "Think Local First" I'm buying all the little ones in my life some fun wooden toys from The Giving Tree in Seattle.

I'm signing the Celebrate Local pledge... are you?
