Learn to Make a Kite with TeachStreet

Like Dave mentioned in the last post about learning how to make an americano, it has been a long standing tradition for a TeachStreeter to teach the rest of the team something new every Friday. Last Friday Lily, introduced us to one of her favorite childhood activities; Kite making. Due to a lack of wind in the office our kites didn’t take off, but we had a lot of fun making them!

    Things I love about this:
    1) choice of music – superb
    2) Stella the Dog's appearance at 2:09
    3) Scott Windsor kicking butt at kitemaking (and all skills, actually)
    4) The fact that I was eating in every on-screen appearance — I really must start exercising again

Great job, Lily — and Harold, awesome job on the video!

Slow motion definitely made this video epic. :)

Very cool video! I used to make kites with paper when I was a kid, so this brought back memories. I loved that there was a beer next to the instructor. You can't go wrong with R. Kelly (well, unless he made a collabo tape with Jay-Z. Whodathunkit?) And, yes Dave, Stella was super cute in her appearance. And a lot is two words, Harold :-) I know, everyone is a critic on The Intertubes.

Eating is not the problem. Sitting with your legs up while the team is running around the office might come closer to the crux :)

Makes me want to work for TeachStreet. I shall pack my bags :)

Thanks for the correction Savan. At one point Daryn was trying to fly the kite using a fan, I think that was a beer induced idea. Always good to have beer on hand! :)

We've got a desk awaiting your arrival. And, you're up to 'teach the team something new' on your first Friday here!

What about French patisserie, the cream filled ones. If your fitness has to go down, it can go down in style. :)
