Today people are sharing content they find and/or create on the web in various places using numerous methods. For example, more than 1.5 million pieces of content (web links, new stories, blog posts, notes, photos, etc.) are shared on Facebook – daily.*

TeachStreet wants every teacher and searcher to be able to share content they find on TeachStreet with their friends. Sharing is a great way for teachers to spread the word about their classes in various places such as Facebook and Twitter. It’s also the perfect tool for searchers to pass on interesting content they find to friends and family. To make sharing as easy as possible we have renovated our Share widget (seen above). Teachers and searchers can share:
- Listings
- Sessions
- Profiles including profile listings, reviews, photos and about me
- Articles
- Browse pages displaying search results
Every time someone wants to share a listing, article, or more they have created or found, they can go to the Share widget (located on the right hand side or below listing descriptions on listing pages) and choose from the various options available to share that content in a couple quick and easy clicks. You can use the Share widget to share content via:
1. Email 4. Linkedin
2. Facebook 5. Digg
3. Twitter 6. Get the link

Not only is this a great opportunity for teachers to show their listings and articles on different networks and reach different audiences, but it allows others to see the shared content and pass it along to their friends and family. Who knows, one Tweet about a teachers latest listing could lead to new possibilities. So what are you waiting for? Learn about Social Networking, spread the word, and share.
