Trick or Teach?

Pretty easy decision, eh?  I’m eager to learn new things and to find local classes, and I know the rest of the TeachStreet community is looking to learn, too. Whether this means you find belly dancing classes, learn how to draw, or whatever else, don’t hide your talent in a bushel basket this Halloween; share your knowledge and talent with the TeachStreet community to make this holiday season more festive, starting with All Hallows Eve.

I’ll go easy on you if you choose the trick, but why not begin the holiday season off right, with a blowout celebration?  Halloween is one of the oldest traditions in the world; dating back to the pre-Christian era.  This year, stay true to tradition and learn how to make your own pumpkin pie.  What about designing your own costume?

Got any good ideas for what to bring to the Halloween party this year?  How about flowers that are in season?  Well, only if you want to really impress your host.  If not, there’s always a good ol’ batch of your own home brewed beer.

Wherever this Halloween leads you, just remember to be safe and bring plenty of tee-pee for all the households that prefer a trick over a treat.

And here’s a sweet Halloween fact to leave you with… did you know that in 2006, the per capita consumption of candy for Americans was 26 pounds?  That’s a lot of sweets!

Salar, rad job on your first post! Just wanted to say… I’m up for some Halloween mischief. I think we should go TP Dave’s house. I bet Zack would help. ;)
