Watch Repairs

Watch out now…
As you’ve probably heard, Oscar winner Charlize Theron could use a fashion class or perhaps a law class.
One might think that $20 million would be enough to keep a girl from committing jewelry infidelity, but apparently not. The actress and watch model double booked herself by signing an exclusive contract with Raymond Weil, which was supposed to last from October 2005 to October 2006.
However, during this time cheating Charlize committed the unthinkable… she took $250,000 from Chopard to wear its jewels at the Oscars and BAFTA awards in 2006. She also received over $50,000 worth of jewelry for wearing Cartier.
Why Charlize, why? Was the Raymond Weil watch you had broken? If so, you should’ve said something to us here at TeachStreet. We would’ve steared you in the direction of a great watch repair class.

Having said that, we wish Charlize luck in court. The star will appear in a New York court by the end of October and could be forced to pay back the full $20 million to Raymond Weil.
I just hope she’s not late for her trial… as she’ll likely be watch-less.
