Neighborhood Notes Providing News and Events in Portland

Are you in the Portland area and don’t know whats going on in your neighborhoods?  Check out your one stop shop for all of your news and events needs at Neighborhood Notes.  They’ve created an amazing space where communities can communicate and connect with one another about Portland events and local neighborhood news.

Neighborhood Notes is really created by the community, for the community and that’s a big reason why it works.  They cover 95 different neighborhoods, which include: Pearl District, Alberta Street and Lower Burnside — so there’s always something out there for everyone in Portland. What excites me about them is that they’ve really created a space where neighbors are empowered to be part of their neighborhoods and that concept definitely mirrors what we’re looking to do with teachers and students.

Just wanted to share some great news — we’re excited to say we’re partnering with Neighborhood Notes and becoming one of their contributors!  Our goal is to hopefully help folks in Portland learn something new and showcase a lot of the great teachers and classes in the their neighborhoods.
