Introducing… TeachStreet Call Tracker

On behalf of the TeachStreet team, I’m so excited to introduce TeachStreet Call Tracker: a free call-forwarding and online voicemail service for all TeachStreet teachers and schools. The service provides each teacher with a business phone number and unique extension to enable improved call-management and student inquiry tracking.

To bring you Call Tracker, I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to partner with another fantastic local startup: Twilio, the industry leader for in-cloud voice communications. Naturally, we look to develop partnerships with best-of-breed companies. But when we’re able to find just that with a startup from our own local community, it’s an unbeatable opportunity!

So, what does Call Tracker do? Call Tracker enables teachers to track and manage phone calls from prospective students, and receive online voicemail recordings that are delivered to their email inbox and TeachStreet Message Center.

The Benefits to Teachers include:

• Consolidated contact management: Manage student emails and phone calls in one place – your TeachStreet Message Center.
• Privacy: Prospective students will be able to call you directly without requiring you to publish your personal phone number online.
• Know Who’s Calling: When a student calls you, your Caller ID will display the TeachStreet phone number (1-206-381-0652), allowing you to recognize the call as a business-related student phone call.
• Go Local or Get a Toll-Free 800# for Free: Although calls are sent to you directly, with Call Tracker you can choose to display a local number or a toll-free 1-800 number.

All teachers have been automatically upgraded to this service, and are already set to receive online voicemail and forwarded calls. We want to extend a BIG “thank you” to Shawn Stewart from 103.7 FM “The Mountain”, who provides the mellifluous Voice of TeachStreet!

To change your Call Tracker preferences, click on “My Settings” at the top of your TeachStreet page, and then on the “Phone Settings” tab. Our goal with Call Tracker is to help you better manage your business, and balance it with your life. We hope you’ll love this new feature!
